Formation and Faith in Jubilee 2025: The International Academy of Catholic Leaders and Antonianum University Announce the 10th International Diploma Program in Rome
Diploma Program Activities Include the Pilgrimage to the Holy Door in St. Peter's Basilica

October will mark a historic moment for the International Academy of Catholic Leaders. In the Jubilee of Education convened by Pope Francis, the institution will hold its 10th International Diploma in the Social Doctrine of the Church, a training event that annually brings together dozens of Catholic leaders from the Americas and Europe. The prestigious Antonianum University in Rome will certify those attending the Diploma.
The program is titled “The Catholic Leadership of Hope” and will be developed in two stages: a virtual one, with online sessions on September 6, 13, 20, and 27, and an in-person one, from October 23 to 27 in Rome, at the Domus Center for Fraternal Spirituality.
“The heart of the Jubilee beats strongly in this diploma program,” comments Lara Bersano , executive director of the International Academy of Catholic Leaders. “In October, we will gather in Rome political, social, ecclesial, community, and academic leaders from more than 10 countries to work synodically to promote peace, fraternity, and charity as ways to overcome the challenges of today’s world. We follow the example of Pope Francis and Pope Leo XIV: today, our responsibility as leaders in each of our communities must be deeply committed to peace.”
One of the central moments of the diploma will be the pilgrimage to the Holy Door in St. Peter’s Basilica, as a sign of commitment to reconciliation, hope, and the construction of a culture of peace.
“We seek a diverse representation of nationalities, social realities, and commitments to leadership responsibility,” says Mario Paredes, president of the International Board of Directors of the International Academy of Catholic Leaders. “That’s why, in addition to having high-level teachers, speakers, and professors, we know this will be a true gathering of Catholic leaders, one that will inspire and ignite vocations of service to the common good.”
With only 50 spots available, applications are now open on the official website: www.liderescatolicos.net/diplomado2025/ and close on July 30. Selected applicants will be announced on August 15.
