“In particular, I greet the new seminarians of the Venerable English College at the beginning of their priestly formation here in Rome. Upon all of you and your families, I invoke the joy and peace of the Lord. God bless you!”

Pope Francis gave this warm welcome to the new seminarians during his remarks to English-speaking pilgrims at his General Audience this morning, Sept. 22, in the Vatican’s Paul VI Hall.

Pope Francis concluded, praying: “May the Lord bless you all and always protect you from all evil!”
