Following its theatrical success in 2021 with VIVO ¿Quién anda ahí? (Who’s There?), with more than 100,000 viewers, Hakuna Producciones now presents its second film: ‘DESCALZOS’ (Barefoot), which will be released in theaters in twelve Latin American countries and the United States in June of this year by Bosco Films.

The film, directed by Santos Blanco (‘LIBRES’), tells the story of the power of prayer through music to bring about authentic inner transformations in the people who compose it, perform it, and those who listen to it.

The film thus delves into the mystery of artistic creation, sustained by prayer, silence, and the search for truth and beauty.

After two years of preparation, ‘DESCALZOS’ was filmed in several countries (Spain, Italy, and Portugal) and features diverse expert perspectives, including composer Manuel Alejandro, who has composed songs for artists such as Luis Miguel, Julio Iglesias, and Alejandro Sanz, among others.

‘DESCALZOS’ invites viewers to discover that only through silence can something be said. And then, YOU SING. YOU PRAY. YOU LOVE.
