The Perspectivas del Trabajo Foundation is founded with the aim of promoting virtues for professional development
The first area of action for this non-profit organization is the launch of an online program on management skills and virtues developed in collaboration with professors from the University of Navarra

The main issue we need to consider in Western society is the value placed on work. First, digital transformation and artificial intelligence are changing the landscape of work and professions. Second, and unfortunately, because there is a negative perception of work. “At the Work Perspectives Foundation, we believe we need to revalue work for its importance to human beings, and we need to inspire people to work increasingly better, to enjoy their daily work. These goals may seem utopian, but achieving them is much easier than we think. What must be done? On the one hand, we need to have the arguments—and there are some—to spread a positive work culture. On the other hand, we need to acquire the skills and virtues necessary to work increasingly better,” says Javier Ramos, director of the Work Perspectives Foundation. This non-profit organization aims to lead a major global conversation about work, involving all stakeholders.
Training, research, publications
The Foundation was founded with three fields of action: training, research, and publications. In a world where professional skills are increasingly in demand, the Work Perspectives Foundation aims to help everyone improve as a professional by acquiring virtues. “This training must be increasingly anchored in a person’s learning capacity and in the development of virtues and abilities that allow for unlimited growth. To this end, we have created the Management Skills and Virtues Program, developed in collaboration with professors from the University of Navarra, using an online methodology that can help professionals, managers, and middle managers better understand themselves and, thus, become better professionals and people, since work life should not be separated from personal life,” says Javier Ramos.
Work as a Service
In addition to training, which includes mentoring services for companies, the other two areas covered by the Work Perspectives Foundation are research and publication. “At the Foundation, we have a more than positive view of work, contrary to the prevailing view in today’s society. If through work we develop as individuals, we can create and improve the world, and serve others and society, why is there a tendency to think that work is something like a punishment and that this punishment ends with retirement?” Ramos concludes.
