“Peace in the Holy Land is possible, but it requires dialogue”
Reports: Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Tg2000’s interview with Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Custos of the Holy Land, was an opportunity to hear the testimony of a man who has been working in the region for more than 20 years.
The Cardinal spoke about the current situation in the Holy Land, which is very tense. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict remains unresolved and violence is a constant.
He also spoke of the importance of dialogue and cooperation between different religions and communities. He said that this is the only way to build a lasting peace in the region.
The Cardinal stated emphatically that “peace is not a gift that falls from heaven, but the result of a constant and determined effort on the part of all those involved”.
This statement is a call to action for all those committed to peace in the Holy Land. It is a reminder that peace is not something to be taken for granted, but something to be worked for.
