Press conference presenting the Peace Match

On Thursday, 29 September 2022, at 3:00 p.m., at the Sala Marconi (Palazzo Pio, Piazza Pia 3 – Rome), a press conference will be held to present the 3rd edition of the Match for Peace, blessed by Pope Francis, which will see the support of the biggest stars in world football.

The Match for Peace will be held next 14 November, at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, and will be organised as an inter-religious charity event by the Scholas Occurrentes Association of the Faithful with an international character. The slogan of the match will be ‘We Play For Peace’.

This edition will be very special and heartfelt, both because of the urgency of an appeal for peace, and because it will also be an opportunity to remember and celebrate Diego Armando Maradona, who has supported and participated in the event in other editions, and was captain of the Scholas team.

During the press conference, details of the event will be provided, relating to the match and the moments dedicated to the homage to Diego Armando Maradona.
